Pre Workout Drink

Hello, my name is George Dirlam, and believe it or not, my pre workout drink of choice is – coffee.

Most people like to have a cup of coffee in the morning. I drink a cup of coffee in the morning but I also like to have a cup before my exercise routine.

I workout 6 days a week and before my workouts, which I like to do in the evenings, I drink a healthy coffee about 30 minutes before my workout. I also like to eat a banana or and an apple about 1-2 hours before my workout.

The banana and apple seems to work better for me than a protein bar. I recently ate 10 bananas in a day to see if I would gain weight or lose weight. Please go to to find out if I gained weight or lost weight.

There are two types of coffee that I really like.

The next time you are in Winco, try the bag of “Chocolate Macadamia Nut” light roast. Wow that’s a great tasting cup of coffee.

My preferred healthy coffee before working out is LeJoyVa black gourmet coffee. The main reasons I like this coffee is:

1- It tastes really good
2- This coffee has 4 healthy herbs

There is a lot of information about coffee now that says 1-2 cups of coffee is probably good for you.

A couple of things that may give coffee a bad name are the cream & sugar and just drinking too much. I like to add cream to my coffee, but if you can drink your coffee black, with no cream and sugar, that is probably the healthiest way to drink your coffee.

Most people would agree that sugar is an enemy to getting a fit healthy body. I am also trying to use less cream in my coffee, which has sugar in it.
